  1. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this post. I found some new plugs and used the’Plug’ setting and all was well. I probably had it on the High-Amp setting when I tried the first plug. I tried to attach a photo but couldn’t get the post to see my photo albums. One to resolve on a wet day!! Kind regards, Derek
  2. Thanks all. The reason for the post was the result of trying a plug which immediately zapped when when connected. I’m not an electrical expert but will try to check the resistors tomorrow. It would appear that the glowplug was not sufficient load to drop the voltage. Derek
  3. Thanks Steve, I’ll dismantle it over the weekend and see what I can find.
  4. I have dragged my old flight box out of (34 year) retirement and although the MFA Power Box fuel pump and starter supply is fine the plug sockets are showing 12volts. Would this problem be repairable or should I invest in a new power box. If the latter is the case, any suggestions for a replacement would be appreciated. Thanks
  5. The S/Robot weighs 5lbs without fuel. I’m hoping to fly it using new RadioLink TxRx using the existing Sanwa servos with changed plugs. It’s reasonably clean and the only mod was to take out the dihedral for better aeros. I’ve Overlander 445W brushless motor, ECS and LiPo battery with 11x5.5 prop. I also have a Flair Puppeteer to convert to 2.4Gh, (it sounds good with the 4str engine), and a Top Flight Corsair in build. I’m not a beginner, just many years out of date! Any thoughts you have are gratefully received.
  6. I have a Veron Super Robot which I haven't flown in donkey's years It is fitted with Sanwa RC and servos and has an OS Max 40. I have a RadioLink AT9S TX/RX and want to convert to an electric motor. Any advice for the conversion would be gratefully received.
