  1. Did you ever get it to work. I rang Century UK and they sent me a disc and that loaded it ok but now I cant change thje scenery and Century cant fix the problem?
  2. Since aeromodelling requires quite a broad skill base I think it fair to say that frustration becomes a way of life, when learning. Pre requisites of having transport, time and some spare cash together with an interest in trying to fly a model plane in a climate such as ours probably accounts for the relatively low volume of fliers in the UK. Trying to build a model plane for the first time, often in isolation, when there are more questions than answers, seems only the start. Finding an instructor who is able to give you the amount of time, that is so essential, at the point  when you are most enthusiastic, is not easy. The alternative of "paid for" tuition in the UK seems very highly priced.  The sport is fantastic, the club people I have met are good fun, helpful and co-operative. I now have two Ready 2s built ,a Reflex flight sim that nearly works - problems with the scenery - and look forward to tuition from my new trainer, if the wind ever stops blowing at gale force.
  3. On my old Dell computer, working on Windows XP I had a REFLEX flight sim. When I purchased my new Dell computer, of course, it had Vista. I approached Andrew at Century UK ( the importers ) to help me achieve the transfer. He very kindly sent me a his disc which he had used to achieve the transfer on his own personal computer and he followed up with instructions on its installation. Unfortunately when I tried to change the scenery on the newly installed REFLEX (in Vista) I got the message "error writing INI file" and " error reading scene file (s3-2a)" and "error reading scene file (s1-2a)". Despite all of Andrews valiant efforts I am unable to get any change of scenery on my REFLEX flight sim although the rest of the programme works fine! I have also sent an email to REFLEX in Germany but have had no response. Any ideas please
