  1. Thanks so much will check all this information out once finished work today. I did try to install a new servo thinking that was the issue but same thing unfortunately. Thanks again for advice will let you know if this solves my issues.
  2. Ok sorry everyone so I should of added. The plane rudder movement is happening when I start the plane up without me touching anything. It’s doing it, itself and doesn’t stop I have to remove the battery for it to stop what it’s doing in the video.
  3. Sorry all. So the battery is 3.9 per cell. So it’s sitting at around 11v total.
  4. Posted by Geoff S on 28/01/2021 19:22:43: What battery is it? I thought the Carbon Cub was electric. If your battery is a 4 cell NiMh then it's very low. Geoff Hi Geoff. It’s a 3s battery that came with the plane RTF.

  6. **LINK** Hi again all. So had a bit of a bad crash on my carbon cub. Got everything repaired, the servos were going and had to replace them. Got myself a servo tester just to be sure and have installed 2 new ones. I’ll try attach a video but whenever I power on, the plane normally moves the elevators and rudder then settles. However the rudder is being moved back and forth fully in a quick manner as if it’s almost like it cannot stabilise itself. Any ideas how I could fix this or what would be causing the issues? Thanks in advance!

This may just be what you’re after so PM me your address and I’ll bung it in the post. Edited By David Ashby - Moderator on 15/01/2021 09:19:57 Lost for words really appreciate the kind gesture! I’ll message you now. Thank you again.
  8. Thanks all for the great responses! The little rubber tubing I just had it moved over to release the little clamp to show for picture. I think going from advice and on here today I’ll maybe switch them over to little metal ones as they would probably be more reliable in the long run. Now to figure out how to replace them! Hopefully should be able to find a YouTube video easily enough for the replacement. Thanks again all!
  9. Hi all. Had my first crash on my carbon cub. Had to do a bit of repairing which seems to have all turned out well. The only thing I’m stumped on is the wire for the elevators has been broken. I’ll include pics below. There isn’t enough grab on the little teeth to catch the hole and stay in place which was damaged in the crash. Any advice would be great! Thanks.
  10. Thanks for the advice everyone lots of very helpful and useful information I will certainly use in my purchase of a new discharger. Just after a further bit of advice. Purchased a new battery. Unfortunately it seems like the connection is completely different from my current battery and of course plane. Would I be able to make use of this battery by purchasing an adaptor? Just curious if it would be safe using the adaptor when flying?

Not sure if it’s worth investing in a single charger or spending the extra to get a dual charger. Wondering what brands or what advice anyone could give in regards to this. I’m very new so sorry if this is posted in the wrong section! Depends on a number of factors: How many batteries do you want to charge/discharge at any one time? What capacity and how many cells do the batteries have? I use 3S 3000mAh batteries and find a dual channel charger capable of 10W per channel discharge rate is adequate. Higher discharge rate would be better but I can discharge half a dozen batteries will little inconvenience should the weather change and prohibit their immediate use. Edited By Shaun Walsh on 02/01/2021 10:55:02 I’m using a 2200mah 3S battery currently. I have 2 for my plane, planning on buying another one in near future so that’s were I was conflicted. Don’t mind spending the extra money and investing in a decent discharger. Only thing that’s persuaded me was I’d charged both batteries a few days ago and went to go out but of course weather didn’t allow me to fly so I had both batteries on full charge and didn’t want to destroy the batteries letting them sit with a full charge. Thanks
