  1. I have looked at the suggestions and I see they are pushers rather than pullers. Does this make the handling any different?
  2. Hi Although not new to RC (I used to build and operate model boats on 27Mhz) I have become interested in RC Aircraft following a Christmas present of a drone a few years ago (not flown much because when I aren't working it is either too dark or too windy!! I subscribe to RCME and read from cover to cover and am beginning to understand some of the terms used but I have a few questions which I would like to get my head around. I am intending to go electric power. 1) I understand that the best plane to use as a Trainer is a high wing - but what size? 2) Is it better to learn with single engine or is it just as easy with twin 3 (the big question) WHY I have seen the XFLY P68 and wondered if that would be a suitable starter plane? Thanks in advance Dave
  3. I have received my latest copy of RCM&E today and whilst I normally devour your august journal from cover to cover, this month I feel your maths skills may be lacking in the accuracy department. When I went to school, which I admit was a long time ago, one £200 pound prize plus 4 x £50 makes a total of £400 not the £450 you advertised for taking part in the survey. Regards Dave Barber
  4. Many thanks for that - it all makes sense now. I will have a look at the link Dave
  5. Good afternoon from a newbie - not new to modelling but new to RC aircraft. I see motors advertised as ****kv - as an electrician I know it can't mean kilovolts but what does the *kv rating mean. Also I see batteries listed with various S* ratings - again what does this mean. TIA Dave
