  1. I will have a try with a smaller motor now. As im new into using electric motors . I just used what the model shop recommended. Probably all he had in the shop ! It must be noted that century did recommend a motor set-up or battery installation. I asked for this to be included. They have not so far.
  2. I came up with the prop size as it is as recommended by the motor manufacturer.
  3. I have used the Ripmax Quantum II 61 motor . Recommend 12x10 13x10 14x7 15x6 props . The ESC is 80A
  4. This a picture of the modification using a carbon copy wot4 undercarriage. It has worked fine for six landings and is no more skittish on take off than the production design
  5. I tried a 12x 8 prop. It did not give the power to get off the ground. There for the change in pitch. I repaired the undercarriage with lots of apoxy and wood. Still failed on first landing. Reworked with carbon copy wot4 undercarriage. Wheels slightly forward of the revised fixing . Lands fine now on tarmac runway. Still lacks power and will not loop using the 3300 4s batteries.
  6. The undercarriage wheels rear of the fixing
  7. On the balsa Ruckus ive found that a 12x 10 prop is required. I think i need to upgrade the 3200 4c as the performance is a bit limp. I had to upgrade the batteries on my foamy Ruckus
  8. The Ruckus balsa undercarriage collapsed in taxing before first flight due to the major design change from the foamy. The design canterlevers at the fuselage to rip the balsa fixing apart
