hi all hows things going i've brought a new plane i got the hangar9 p51 mustang pts a trainer would you have it but it's loverly to fly not that i've had much chance with all this bloody rain will it ever stop????. but it goes exactly where you point it and reacts quickly as i've left all the training aids off and am flying by the seat of my pants i give a thumbs up but it's a bit expensive at £130 though

hi all it was my local model shop that told me duraglo 10 was a running in fuel i just went in and asked for a running in fuel and thats what they gave me it was my club members who told me the fuel wasnt the best i could be using and i read that model technics wasnt that good and i will stick to prosynth now as it easier to get hold of round here

hi gang had an eventfull weekend first of all she went in nose first due to the switch harness giving up the ghost mid flight so fixed her last night and today i screwed up a landing mainly due to wind not making it's mind up which way to blow and broke her again but she is fixed and ready for next week but in between all that i managed to do my first take offs and first powered landings so all in all a good weekend bare i couple of hickups along the way hopefully doing my A very soon stevie my instructer is more than happy with progress keep you all posted

hi i have changed my fuel to prosynth 2000 5% and she has run fine never missing a beat for the last two days so it seems problem solved she just didnt like that fuel thanks all for help andy

hi i'm thinking of buying the weston groove for when i pass my A cert of course with limited control surface movement i'm not mad enough to try it with them on full belt i've read it is a nice smooth flight but can any of you shine any light on this and how controlable it is

yeah looked at that and like it. looking at models that i've seen fly or people can tell me about not going to go on shop info no more as had a few times i've been given duff info just to sell me the stuff and read about that with the groove they claim it was a duff batch but sounds like they droped a clanger with the design

yes checked in the tank and all tubes fine do every thing i meant to use after run oil etc etc just cant understand why it cuts i'm sure it either fuel or idle setting but my instructor is addiment it's the fuel didnt get chance to fly today as weather is crap

allready use os no8 plugs have changed plug and checked all tubes everything seems fine weather permitting i'll go up and give it ago today see what happens thanks guys i'll keep u posted

cheers m8 the cub dont appeal to me as a want a low wing but i will have a look at the site see if anything takes my fancy. i'm tempted to buy another artf i love the look of the westen uk groove a 3d model but from what i've read it can be calmed down to fly in a more normal manner a few guys at my club fly them and they fly sweet and all of them have them set to differant control rates from full on to gentle flying full on they are ace prop hang knife edge etc etc.

this supaglo is a high caster fuel and what i've been told is now the engine is run in it dont like the fuel now ran perfect on it at first now it hates it will try different fuel as need to get some more any way will get same fuel my club use and go from there but if you can think of anything it may be let me know. there no fuel leaks at all on model just alot of caster down the side after each flight from silencer andy

hi phil yeah i check needle setting b4 every flight and it is fine and all pipe work seems fine and no it does not have a remote needle have not tried new plug as the one in there is not that old as engine only just run in but i do have a spare so will try seems strange ran it on another guys fuel mostly syntetic oil and she ran sweet put her back on my fuel and she cut have heard that model technics fuel is crap anyway brought as shop only sells that fuel just seems strange she dont like to idle one time then then another time she'll cut mid flight andy

also i'm looking for my next model but want to build from kit any ideas must have a engine size of .61 2 stroke .91 4 stroke or under due to club rules thanks guys NO WOT 4'S AS I HATE THEM UGLY LOOKING THINGS THEY ARE

hi i need the help of your great minds. i'm new to this game but i'm having trouble with my sc46 a engine it just cuts out for no reason plenty of fuel clunk is free and plug is fine i'm using model technics supaglow 10 fuel. been told that it is the fuel as this is a running in fuel and the engine has now run in and wont run as well on it now. any ideas as to weather this is right or any other possibilitys thanks guys andy

hi all had some stick time on sat but had to shoot early as had to visit family but instructor had me practiceing landing approachs having probs with fuel and had to do a dead stick landing for REAL!!!!!! instructor shouted dead stick then said u land it i was shaking never landed with power let alone without but managed it just about even if i did over shoot the runway by quite afew feet. the other guy who is learning with me who has been a member longer cant belive how well i'm doing he cant understand how i'm doing loops and rolls and even pulled off a split s with a half roll from inverted flight told him it's the sim but he thinks the instructor is doing it not me as he cant do it and has been flying longer but when i get that a b4 him and do it with out a buddy lead may be then he'll belive me rained off today and looks like it will be the same tomorrow keep you posted
