  1. The engine will be/is a MVVS 26 petrol or Evolution 26GX (basically the same thing) weight 940g Peter
  2. Hi Martyn, At 72" span I have a 26cc petrol looking for a home  The only problem at these larger sizes is that wire under carriages are not so good. Peter   Edited By Peter Burgess on 15/12/2016 11:14:26
  3. I certainly would be interested in a 115% KF 4 Any I dea what wing span that works out at?
  4. Heads-up guys. This coming week-end the 16,17 and 18 September, the East Sussex Soaring Association (ESSA) are holding an international F3F (slope racing) competition with 43 pilots. Obviously the competition will be held on which ever slope the wind dictates but so far the long range weather forecasts indicate a westerly wind which would mean the Long Man west slope. ESSA hope that this will not inconvenience any one not involved in the competition.
  5. Hi, Does any know if the Pete Tindal push rods are still available? If so, where from? Pete
  6. I really enjoyed the Watford UKCAA Fly-in, a very friendly bunch of people. Thanks for making me feel welcome I will try to visit further north to another event.
  7. Hi Martyn, I plan to attend the Watford meeting and I would appreciate a burger or two I am all for a little light competition
  8. Steve/Martyn, please could you give some directions and if possible a post code for the Watford site Thanks
  9. Martyn, all being well I plan to attend the Watford meeting. Pete Burgess
  10. Or consider Hitec HS225MGs, half the weight of a standard size servo but much stronger gears than a HS85.
  11. Make sure that the throttle is 1/4 open and use a geared starter if possible. Otherwise give Just Engines a call. Once you get it going the NGH 17 is a great engine, very pleased with mine.
  12. Hi Martyn, how is the 'Manoeuvre description' coming along? I only ask so that we can practise them (if the weather ever improves)
  13. Martyn, the engine is an NGH GT17 (petrol) Terry, No I have not tried a 14x12 but have used a APC 14x11 on the Calibre. What make of pipes are good for noise reduction? (I am not very knowledgeable about pipes) Edited By Peter Burgess on 21/01/2016 14:33:27
  14. Terry, the pipe is a Just Engines 60 power pipe. I first got the pipe to try and reduce the noise output, well it did a bit. Of greater significance was the leap in power output. On the supplied silencer the engine was turning a G-Sonic 14x7 at about 9200rpm, with the pipe it turns a 14x11 at 9000 That turned an OK model (PB Calibre) into an exciting one! The Adagio has a G-Sonic 15x8 and a 15x10, the 15x8 turns at 9200. Both give the Adagio unlimited verticals. There maybe some words and pics appearing in RCME in about 8 weeks time (There are further pics of the engine & pipe back on page 23) Edited By Peter Burgess on 21/01/2016 09:25:17
