  1. Hi Simon...Thank you..The 1100mm version I have was produced with turn and retract units which as far as I can tell from all the videos of gear retraction I have looked at are identical to mine, which fit perfectly, they just turn the wrong way jamming the doors. Unfortunatley they are one piece units and cannot be turned around and as you say it has been discontinued for a while, and even when in production spares were virtually non existant..I believe you are correct in saying that the sequence of the retract process is controlled within the retract..I think I am screwed..But thank you for taking the time to help me. All my other foam a/c are E-flite...different ball game and all my big gas powered a/c I built myself so know the fixes...It is a mystery......
  2. Thank you Trevor..As you can see they operate putting the outside wheel axle into the well..Mine puts the inside wheel into the well which is wrong..Thank you also John..I have removed one side of the gear and held it across..No difference other that the wheel is now inboard instead of outboard, still rotates the wrong way..Just wonder if I can reprogram it in the set up menu in my DX8 Gen 2 through the AR 630 rx that I put in the a/c...Thanks again...
  3. I recently aquired the above second hand but in excellent condition..My issue is the 90 degree retracts which would appear to rotate up the wrong way. By this I mean that the inside of the wheel is rotating into the wheel well so not going down far enough to clear the spring loaded doors and jamming in them. If the wheel rotated the other way then the outer edge of the axle would fit into the recess for it in the wheel well and the leg would go further down clearing the doors..It's really wierd as there is no way either gear can operate properly the way it is. Gear is original and the guy I purchased it from has moved abroad so no help there..My question is can the servos be made to rotate the other way, obviously switching left for right would only result in inward facing gear as opposed to outward which is correct. Thanks for any help.
