Hi Gary, Many thanks but I am sure it was a Veron kit, it could have been the Vortex. Further to your Swan I used to build my own designed 3ft span hand launched glider. we would throw it off a cliff over a valley with an auto rudder activated by a length of button thread,I must admit it was in Cyprus so the thermals where quite prolivic, one was returned my a Royal Navy minesweeper it had been found off the Turkish coast so I always put my name & address on my models. Many years ago I was given a kit by ,I believe Veron, it was a 60 inch span glider the fusalage was built in the normal manner then canted 45 degrees with the wing pylon added. Can any one remember the name of this design & if possible tell me where I could get a copy of the plan as I should like to make a x2 version. We are going back 50 years. Ever hopefull Dave Shiell.
