  2. Richard Harris Congratulations on a great article summarising what fun autogyros offer to the RC flyer! Perhaps not the easiest baby to bring to life and survive without a rebuild but what a challenge! Can't wait for the March issue of RCM&E and of course the Panther plans! It looks and flys like a winner! I envisage mass sales of RCM&E next month! Well done R.H. (Gyroking) and all the supporting Gyronuts. Will there be a Panther laser cut wood kit on offer or available soon and sourcing of the all important suitable head gear?

  6.      Batteries are a mystery to me - so this must have been written especially for me !    I need enlightening!

  11. Tex is the name Flying is his game His hands on the throttle But he's lost his bottle 'cause he's got no plane    -- -- -- -- -- -- Yes please - this is for Tex!
  12. Please put me in it to win it! Great magazine! Excellent articles! And a PRIZE DRAW!
  13. Tiger moths were fitted bomb racks to carry 8 x 20 / 25lb bombs to be used as a possible defence against invasion during 1940's. DH82 were used by RAAF RCAF and RNZAF, mainly for training. No details of any physical enemy shipping engagement! James May (Top Gear) used a Tiggy to drop flour bombs! If this model is lucky enough to fly into my hanger, I would kit it out as a true RAF trainer.
  14. My choice:- 1. A really classic style introductory slow flyer similar to Greatplanes 'Slowpoke 15' using introductory beginers electric power system that won't break the bank. This might help introduce skills long forgotten or taken for granted by the 'pro's'! 2. A good classic ww2 using small 25-30 four stroke - upside down. Again, those starting out are keen and want to try tricky things but need success and pride in their achievements! 3. Very light depron / carbon fibre based model for indoor flying with very light weight, low cost power unit and where to source these items!
  15. As a regular outdoor RC flyer this is the first time that I have been the slightest interested in microflight! I must go out tomorrow and get one as it ticks all the boxes and I have never ever won a lucky draw! Here's wishing & hoping!
