  1. High folks, I built the this as per plan, it flew into ground and broke , it seemed underpowered, and tail heavy. I fitted the motor in the nose still no joy, I think I must add lightness !!!. At present I am building another much modified model using elevons   and 3 inch  dihedral under each  wing , if it flies reasonably well I will post 'photos,  this pesky reptile will not beat me !!!.   Alan.
  2. Hi Richard, I have been flying the Chippie, for 14 years now and it is the best low winger that I have ever flown, I fitted a Saito 65 FS and it punches holes in the clouds, also you have to be an animal to stall it. Happy flying, Bionic
  3. Worst plane ever ? 1980 Waterhouse and Ely Super Fly . fibreglass brick !! It almost halted my first Radio control flying before I got started. Fitted an OS Max 40, which made it fly like a breez block.
  4. Hi Tom, re Rubber, http://www.freeflightsupplies.co.uk/ eveything you need on this link, Regards Alan.
  5. Hi all. 64yrs old last week, started building at 7, first plane Beechcraft Bonanza, Jetex Hunter profile, burnt fingers every flight!!..Next, D H FoxMoth, copied the full size that I had my first flight in of Southport beach.Best 10 bobs worth ever !!. Control line though to 40 yrs old, when Bertie Barnstormer  got me into Radio, Thanks mate!!. I like to build daft planes some of which you might have seen in the 'mags,Transavia Airtruck,  {Mad Max, }. Breda 15, Latest project is Chance Vought V-174 twin electric, scale about 1-6 ,got 3 view from factory web site, have a look, just put V-173 into Google.  Don't laugh, the prototype flew well. Happy New Year and safe flying to all.
  6. Lay off Birtie, he taught me to fly R C just outside his first' big house'  near Wigan Pier, for which I am forever gratfull. I blame the emissions from this new fangled 2.4 gig radio gear, It removes some folks humour cell from their brains.
  7. Hi Guys, I bought a faulty charger from BRC HOBBIES, they changed for a more expensive model which more than offset my postage, deal with the good guys !!!. Food for thought for all electric fliers, last year in the USA, 60% of all returned and faulty goods were made in China, makes you think don't it.
