  1. Yup, ordered them as well. Thanks for point out though....
  2. Found some 2.0mm connectors on AliE....... , they are not going to break the bank so taken a punt on them being the correct size
  3. Definitely not 2.54mm spacing, 2.54mm is the same size as used on raspberry pi header pins, this is smaller than that, the servo connector is the one on top for comparison. Putting a ruler next to the pins they are about 2mm centres.
  4. Looking to make some shorter cables that go between the receiver and radiolink PRM-01 battery telemetrics model, connecting to the Gnd, SDA SCL, and 5v What is this type of connector call, it is smaller than a servo connector, four pins is almost the same width as a 3 pin servo connector.
  5. Thanks all for the advice so far, all good thoughts Is there a general rule of thumb for all planes or does it differ based on the design, wing shape position etc?
  6. Got my self a Volantex Phoenix s 1600, build was smooth and it is all hooked up to the radio gear with a 2s 2200 battery, as I understand things before the maiden flight I should balance the plane on the CG marks. With the 2s battery as far forward as it can the pheonix is still very tail heavy, to get it to balance on the CG marks i had to add about 100g of weight is this normal to have to add this much ballast or is this correct so larger sized batteries can be used? Also should it balance level or should it be slighty nose or tail heavy to make flying "easier"?
  7. In the process of joining a club, definitely want to learn and get guidance from other members..
  8. Hi there, just joined as I am navigating my way into RC planes. Currently looking at the FMS 1300M PA-18 super cub as my first trainer... hopefully something that will take me to intermediate level Cheers Chris
