  1. Ha ha...yes that would be satisfying. I took an enormous amount of satisfaction posting my expeirences on here...I held back at first though as I wouldnt feel good hurting somebodys livelihood...but judging from what I have read now...they deserve it.
  2. Thanks Roger. I may go as far as writing the letter...but frankly I dont really want to waste anymore of my valuable time on the cretins....as satisfying as it may be to take them to court. I will write the letter and let you all know what happens,,,but judging by previous communications...nothing i suspect!
  3. Already done that Roger....they never answer emails or havent done in the past.
  4. My mistake...I forgot i had posted this on "all things flying" forum also.
  5. Is it me or has half the post on this thread been removed ?????
  6. I would like to share a bad experience dealing with ABC Model Sports www.abcmodelsport.net On the 2nd September I ordered a Servo for my P51 Mustang and was shown as 'in stock'. When the servo arrived it was completely the wrong thing and strangely a small note inside saying "sorry that your part is out of stock" (????) I immediately returned the servo (at my own expense and registered post) foolishly thinking I would be sent the correct part or recieve a refund....3 and half months later, still no Servo and no refund. I am continously 'fobbed off' with "the manager isnt here" or we have asked the accounts person to send you a cheque...etc etc..... It was only ten pounds but as someone on a modest income and a family to support ten pounds is ten pounds. Please beware of buying online from these people. Merry Christmas all...
  7. Thanks for your input Martin.
  8. Jon...Have you tried 'Right Mouse Clicking' on the shortcut to the program...then select PROPERTIES...then COMPATIBILITY...try running in XP SP2 mode.
  9. Phil. Didnt manage to get a min last week. Can you send me an email through here and we arrange a time to meet up. Cant send you one mate as you dont appear to have an address set up. Cheers Shaun
  10. Jon...2nd Thursday of every month so will be the 8th Nov. Kicks off about 7.00 pm but nothing really started until gone 8...so I wont rush down there next time. Everyone was very friendly...ask for Keith Wood...he is part of the membership comittee.
  11. Yeh...then it still wouldnt work....
  12. MCSE...would be LOVELY...boss wont pay for me to get through and too expensive to get myself through it! What would you reccomend then Timbo because I really need to get one of these also..
  13. John..Im a MSP (Mircosoft Certified Professional...thats debatable!) and I agree with Timbo...although a piece of software designed to run on XP SHOULD run on Vista with a bit of tweaking, I have managed to get 95% of XP stuff working. But in this case, as Timbo suggests, invest in a new one with USB connection....and come down to CADMAC! Unfortunately we will all have to go Vista soon as we wont have much choice...even downgrading to XP wont be easy as drivers etc may not work if designed for Vista. Mind you...everybody hated XP...but MS sorted it out in the end.....!
  14. Hi John..CADMAC in Chichester is a good club..I went for the first time last week, Im not far from you being in Emsworth. When you say the Art-Tech has no USB, how does it connect to computer? Is it via a COM (Serial) port?
