It's a long story about a faulty radio that had to go back!!   Thankfully, no i'm not now!!

 hi all   been on this site loads of times and read a lot of useful stuff so thought it about time i said hello!! came back to the hobby about 2 1/2 years ago after a break of 25 years and am still amazed at the advances in technology. even more amazed at the apparent reduction in price of some comparative items. my 27 meg futaba 4 channel cost more to buy in '75 than my 6 channel 2.4 kit i have now!!   I fly sport models when i can (not as often as i'd like to) with a club in kent and am gradually getting into scale warbirds.and have just started the Brian Taylor Mossie. 

I still have a complete 27meg Futaba set but, over the years the plugs have corroded and broken off so I don't know if it still works.

I'm concerned..   I bought a 6EX combo about 18 mnths ago and recently tried to purchase a R606FS Rx only to find that they are discontinued.   Can i use an R608FS 8 channel Rx with my 6 channel Tx???

I'll bet this one flies better than the control line job I built too many years ago... 

Once again, I try (probably) in vain!!! poetry is not a string point but worth a try!!
