Tony  Many thanks for the information I must admit I also thought about rigidly glueing the ali tubes in place. I will now crack on with the wing building.  Cheers for now  Roger.

Help required please. Im building the 72inch Lancaster (Tony Nijhuis)but certain how the wing tubes are supposed to be installed. Am I right to assume that the phonelic tubes are glued into each wing and cut flush, and then another seperate piece of phonelic tube glued into the fusalage and the alluminium inner tube is then just used to connect the whole assembley together, and then fixed with screws in each wing panel? Any help (pictures if possible) would be appreciated Cheers Roger
