  1. I also need some advice regarding CG, hang angle. I have drilled a hole through the mast at the recommended CG and have inserted some string to hang the Panther, is this the correct method. At the moment the Panther is tail heavy at the moment.

  2. A bit off topic but this question is aimed at Rich. Finally got round to attaching my blades for my Panther and i  have made a stupid mistake of making the blades so they turn clockwise. Save making a new set can i cut the blades down from 21/1/2 x 2/3/8 inch to 19/3/4 x 2/3/8 , Would this make a difference  regarding  lift.  Thank you.

  3. Hi, Just started cutting the wing

ribs but find it impossible to cut the ribs with the tab intact so i will have pack the trailing edge up when assembling the wing. The build is coming along fine and also started assembling the Nacelles.

  4. Hi, Anybody started building Tonys recent free plan the A10, I have started cutting the parts but it is rather intricate and time consuming

but its keeping me occupied now the winter draws ever closer. There is usually a video on Tonys website but not seen one regarding the A10.

  5. Hi, Seems like i can only get the same for my roll which is about 10/15 degrees will this also be enough. I have used standard size MG servos

but they do not allow a lot of movement but i have just used a spare HS 81 mg for the rudder and have got a lot more movement. Thank you for any assistance.

  6. Nice video, Was hoping for a plan pretty soon but started on the Panther instead. Iam build the Panther from a plan issued a few years ago and was wondering if their is a update regarding the blades or should i stick to the original sizes on the plan. Don't want to hijack this thread so should i start and put my questions on the original Panther discussion. Best regards Glen.

  7. Hi, A little bit off topic but recently built the cranefly from Dear old Tom Wrights plans mainly from scrap balsa i had laying around and the only expense i incurred was the delta plate and bearing from coolwinds models. I had messed around trying to get the blades to spin to no avail but eventually succeeded by increasing the negative pitch. So this afternoon off i went with my fixed wing models and my Cranefly and really the conditions were not ideal with wind speed around 9/10 mph but it got to the point where i thought bugger it not got anything to lose so i let the blades spin up to what i thought was faster enough and then hand launched into wind and to my amazement the Cranefly flew. I did not do any trimming at all and just did 5/6 circuits left and right turns and then brought it into wind and brought it in for a perfect landing. Just to make sure it was not beginners luck i had a second flight and apart from being tossed around because the wind was picking up i then brought it in for another decent landing. So today i was a happy chap bringing it home in one piece and now will wait till there is better conditions before i try again. Just thought i would share my first Autogyro flight.

  8. Fancy buying a quadcopter and was wondering if anybody can suggest which one. I don't want to take video or photos just want to fly round our flying field but would like a fpv regarding a monitor on the controller. Don't want to buy the cheap quads aiming at youngsters but would like one with attitude hold return to home and other various  add ons. Basically one with out having to pay a arm and a leg for the advanced video, photo technology. Any ideas please.

  9. Hi, Just about finished my Panic but was wondering what kind of connection you use to join bottom aileron to the top aileron bearing in mind

that it will have to be disconnected after each flying session. I was going to use a clevise at one end but don't think after plenty of use it will stand up to constantly

    being unclipped. Thank you
