  1. Hi there I to use a 4.8 volt reciver pack to check setting out and this a very safe way of working on the radio settings.
  2. Hi there I have a Syma 606 two chanel and thay are very good fun to fly in doors and out but there is only limited ruder control on theas type of helis go to coax 2 blade as you nexed heli.

Hi there slitly changing the subject this may be to some advatage to some of the more money concis amung us I have a Rayovac rechargeable alkaline battery charger this may upset the battery makers but I have found it quite safe to recharge duracel alkali batterys many times with out eny side afects to the batterys.
  5. Hi there Peter I have Robins 22 and this sounds quite familiar as I had to adjust mine first make shore the swaosh plate is pushed together and not wobbling about then unscrew the left servo conecting rod one turn put trim back to center and try a very gentle hover.
  6. Hi there I started with a two chanel heli and there is no relationship to the biger 4 and 7 chanel, I to fly in my place of work every day and if you can learn to hover and do small circits to start with this will save lots of brocken parts.
  7. Hi the size and wattage off the soldering iron is important but what type of metal you are soldering is more important as diffrent, flux for eletrical, resin moltiy core solder, for steel wire acid based flux with lead plumers solder this will give you more solid joints. 
  8. Hi there I can strongly recommend the coaxial two roater type as the price is good for a 4 channel heli do no fly out side till you can hover and do small circuits thes can be got for as low as £80 on the net.
