  1. I lost my plans and want to check my CG after some minor service. I seem to remember that it was 85mm... Can someone confirm this for me?   I appreciate it, Scott Graupmann   P.S. It would be nice if Tony's website had cg/control throws on the product pages.
  2. The only thing I would classify as bad, is a tendency to tip onto it's nose. I may have the wheels too toe'ed in or something. I've had some retract trouble and have not gotten back to it to figure it out. During the takeoff run, I use full up elevator for the first 5-10ft. I then quickly bring it back to more or less neutral for a scale-like run down the runway. I held the elevator to long on one run and it popped into the air after about 15-20 feet. At my airframes weight, there was no tip stall, which I would not have been surprised to see given the premature departure and low airspeed.   After a finish the RCME 72" lanc and a quick Bearcat ARF, the 'Fury will be back under the knife for retract repairs. scott.
  3. I have a TF Sea Fury that I build about two years ago. I think it flies really well. I used a Saito 1.00 and I'm happy with the power, although if you like them really fast you might want to use something bigger. Mine came out at 10.25 lbs covered with monokote to look like Riff Raff the Reno Racer.  scott.
