I have not bought any model or kit yet. I am retired now and thinking of joining in the fun but would appreciate any advice on suitable models to learn on and transmitters and elecrtonic kit etc. A local model shop has advised me to start on motorised electric gliders, in particular a model called 'Nebular'. Anyone got any experience of this model please. The local club will only allow 2.4Ghz transmitters because they say other frequencies restrict flying and you have to wait for a slot to fly on other frequencies. The club also does not allow IC engines but there is another club on the Blackdown Hills on an old aerodrome that does. I thiink they may also be more flexible on types of models etc. Any advice would be appreciated Joe
