  2. Hi All Well aileron test results are in have to say not to impressed with myself lol Oh woe is me !! I should of just took the Pitts out today but nice days full of sun must of dulled me brain, took my groovey 50 and the Pitts along with my brother in-law who i'm teaching to fly with his trainer. I pre-flighted and flew his trainer first , all good Chris then does very nice takeoffs and 2 circuits no probs lol Next his first loop and inverted lol thats when his brain went south just like his plane that was inverted wrong input = nose in (lol) thru trees nose stuck in the mud. So after much laughter i flew my groovy50 and show him what to do inverted (smirk) 20mins thrashing the G/50 about and time to do aileron tests. well that was wot i was supposed to be doing right. First flight. Top ailerons pinned and taped power check, flight controls check all good to go, Chris hand launched and she's away quite nippy and nice, 2 circuits smooth, rolls very slugish no problems going inverted just slooow to get there lol no snaps with this puppy now. Second flight All ailerons conected and trimmed, Chris hand launched again (small foam wheels on football feilds) 1circuit still slugish umm opps duel rates on sanp roll smash lol @ this point Chris and i was laughing that much what else can you do. well just goes to show don't bash 1thing about like mad then do some tests lol and check check check the result, listen to people that know LOL Oh My GoawD LOL still i got some glue and time hehe Byte

  4. All right lol i get the picture now guys hehe i know you just dont want to see a bent airframe lol but i thought that came with the game Nothing ventured nothing gained ( umm Expiriance) you all comfirmed my assumption that it would just slow the rolls ,just got new pushrods (shooosh finished early hehe) going to test next flying day, going to pin/tape top ailerons for 1 or 2 flights and see what happens then refitt pushrods should be interesting for10 mins lol i wonder just how much differance it will make? Thanks for the input guys this is my first elec project so see how it goes, still love the smell of nitro but elec is cleaner lol Here she is Byte

  7. Hi All Have been reading and looking around for a while now and darn nice site guys Ok now i've gota nice electric pitts S2-b , but i'd like to ask, if i remove the push rods that conect the top wing ailerons and make the top ailerons fixed will this just half the roll rate or will the lower ailerons still be just as effective???
