  1. The Ezee Pzee - I hope this is how it flies as it does not describe the build instructions. I am sure Cab got lots of calls. The most frustrating thing is the use of short hand and not having reference of the parts for the build; for example "use 9mm birch ply and attach to the fire wall". Which bit of the 9mm birch ply does this refer to and is it the thickness, length or depth? Fuse is nearly made up which takes some of the work away. Wings etc to make - kit does look really high quality so should be fun. Pics to follow although I am almost sad to make as it would be great to be able to re-create this kit for sale. 2. Dear Geoff and others I returned back to Al's Hobbies this weekend and had a chat with Ali about the missing fuse for the Ezee Pzee. In describing a mad foamboard model Ali remembered that he had put the fuse in a safe place. I am now the proud owner of the missing items and am so glad I did not have to rebuild from scratch. So now onto building the wings. David
  3. Hi Geoff Couple more questions I am afraid - can you let me know the depth of the fuse (top to bottom) at leading edge and trailing edge of the wing - as your pics make it look like the wing is mounted at an angle rather than horizontal plus depth at the end of plane ie between stab and rudder. Also what is the total length of the fuse on the bottom from firewall to back of plane. Thank you David
  4. Thank you Geoff Gives me a fighting chance to build the fuse. David
  5. Sorry Geoff One last question (at the moment) - what is the fuse sides made from - balsa sheets or polyboard? David
  6. Hi Geoff I had seen the first set of pics when I searched for the Ezee Pzee. My one is mostly in the box with the rear tail and stab roughly made up and the wings all still untouched. What is not so good is that I have nothing for the fuse apart from 2 bits of liteply and so have no way of re-creating the fuse. I don't suppose that using the wing as the reference measure you could help in getting some dimensions to help me build up the fuse? David
  7. Dear All at RCME I have just bought an "as new" Ezee Pzee model kit from Al's Hobbies in Wolverton but I need some help. Firstly the build plans are missing, and secondly a lot of the fuse ply parts are also absent. Does any of you kind souls have a set of plans to send me (or know where to source) plus how to recreate the missing fuse ply formers? Regards David
  8. Dear Paul  Thank you for letting me know that I have taken the same route as you, and that you took the time to post the build. I love your cradle for building the plane - have to make one of those. Also I have had the same problem when building the "oil rig". You match to the plans and then end up with the tail off centre. A question for you, if you were to build the maggie again would you leave off the spars that butt to the cockpit, fit the fuselage to the cockpit, then glue the last spars once the fuselage is attached?  Regards David
  9. Thank you for the responses - both of which I understood. I'll let you know how I get on.  David
  10. Dear Members, I am only starting out on model flying and have decided to start at the beginning by building a Flair Magnatilla. My question is how do I ensure that the fuselage is square on to the main cockpit i.e. centred Regards David
