Thanks guys, glad you like! Good to hear flying characteristics are good, I'm going to set up ailerons with differential, and use the rudder to help around turns. I've yet to pull the vinyl decals, and handpaint new roundels, in the correct shade of blue, and also will paint on dummy rib tapes. Il get back to it tomorrow. Edited By Matt Halton on 08/04/2020 01:23:06

More, I built a scale gravity tank and plumbing, tank from depron covered in thin tissue and Poly C, rivets from PVA, and painted.

Hi guys, here's my latest build, an FPV conversion with a pilot and camera installed into his head with pan and tilt, plus scale mods, and full body pilot inside a fully decked out scale cockpit. My lockdown project! First photo, how I received it, ready assembled by someone else.

OK new Flash 2540 props came in today. I just did a simple thrust test on my scales by holding the nose down onto the plate and letting it rest gently, ie no down pressure. After subtracting the model weight I'm getting 141 g. Obviously not scientific , but 3 tries I'm getting the same output. If I hold this in my hand pointed vertical, I'm certain it would want to fly away and accelerate! Unbelievable power! I just need to be careful that on launching it doesn't torque roll. Maybe launch nearer half throttle. Very happy with the power!! Gemfan Flash 2520 prop has slightly bigger diameter than the prop in the previous photos.
