  1. There`s far too much choice out there and I think it`s easy to become drawn in by some of the sales hype. Kyosko make an electric Cessna skylane 182 RTF model. All in for about £100. I can`t find that many independant reviews of the thing. Anybody out there had a go with one of these beauties. Cheers.
  2. Then again. The Hobbyzone Super Cub looks a pretty good deal to me.  How does this machine rate? Thanks.
  3. Guys, had myself a little look around at the Innovator and she looks the ticket and at about £36. Nice...... Although electrics still to buy.  If it all comes in about the £100 mark, I`ll be a happy bunny. Fairly close to Trumpington Hobbystores, will give them a call and will let you know the outcome.  Cheers.
  4. Timbo. Many thanks for your swift response.  I have indeed read some of the threads in the Beginners section, there is plenty to chose from in that department.  There is certainly plenty of info there to be getting on with.  I`m sure some of the previous questions will be of use to me.  As for comments.  Generally very good, but from a newbie starting out, navigation can be somewhat awkward.  Its like reading a magazine through a letterbox.  Y`know what I mean.  With experience though, comes progression. Thanx.
  5. Fine people. Having flown 40 IC powered trainers in the past.  (some 12 years ago).  I`m keen to get back into model flying again.  I was a member of the Ivel MAC for about about a year, but never progressed beyond the early learner stage.  Flew solo several times.  New house, new job and new kids ended it right there. Now I`ve got myself one of the Silverlit X twin planes and a helicopter and just love-um.  Completely modifying the copter with carbon fibre and Delrin to make her run sweet as. Now I`m considering a 3 or 4 channel fixed wing electric something.  I`m not interested at this stage in building me own, `cos I really don`t have the space or time.  What I would like is an ARTF jobbie, that doesn`t necessarily need the receiver.  I can use the Futaba Challenger from my previous stunting exploits.    I`ve seen a few from Hobbystores that look the part, all in at about £100.  Could you guys recommend a suitable electric model, that`ll get me back into gear again.  I may join a club again in the future, but would like to get down to my local park on a Sunday morning.  My other hobby is metal detecting.  Cheers all.  Littlebloke.
