Kevin Russell
Hi I have decided to ditch my DX7 transmitter and buy a DM8 module for my FF9 it binds OK but if I turn the TX off the servos just loose power, its the same on both a AR6200 & AR500 receivers, I thought the fail-safe should power the servos back to the bound position?Kevin
Tim Mackey
I think you will find that the spektrum receivers only have fail safe on throttle - and even then this needs to be established at the time of binding.
Kevin Russell
dam just found this should have googled a bit better If the receiver is turned on first (except for the AR500, AR6100 and the AR7100 receivers), all servos except for the throttle will be driven to their preset failsafe positions set during binding Note: When using the AR500, AR6100 or the AR7100, if the receiver is turned on first, no outputpulses are sent to any channels. Tim Mackey
I think you will STILL find that many of the spekky receivers only actually drive the throttle servo to any so called preset failsafe position - despite the blurb.
