Roger Jepps
Hi, I have a Falcon kits vintage Falcon. A scaled down version of the old Keil Kraft Falcon. The wingspan is 36" and the all up flying mass according to the plan should be 7.7oz when built including radio gear, motor etc. Again according to the plan the basic finished airframe should end up at around 4.4oz. The kit was manufactured in 2002 with the following recommended R/C equipment. GWS 30g 150 motor/gearbox & 7"x6" prop. 7CELL 300mAh NIMH pack. 2X 5.5 GWS servos. GWS 5 amp 7g ICU 100 ESC. GWS 7.5g Rx with 3channels. This is my first attempt at electrics. I appreciate that since 2002 things have moved on rapidly with electrics. I am wondering if anyone can give an idea of what would be a suitable current alternative to the above. Thanks.
