Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator Posted November 17, 2010 Share Posted November 17, 2010 Hi TM The Planet T5 has a socket on the rear (a JR type) and its possible to buy a lead with a USB on the other end to connect to a computer - this would enable you to use free simulators such as FMS - Galaxy Models for example sell this lead. If you want a better qulity sim - such as Pheonix for example - you need to order a lead with the sim - you will need the JR type lead. As regards buddying - I'm not absolutely sure what the Planet can do in this respect. It doesn't seem to have a trainer switch so I don't think it can be used as a master. I guess it can operate as a slave via the JR connector on th rear. But I'm not absolutely certain and I've never seen it done.
