Solly
I always found it difficult to bend U/C wires at the correct angle ie. to solder rear and front wires together at the wheel end. It's easy to see which angle is needed when sighting down the wire but another matter after the job has been transfered to the vice. I simply tightly fix a small G clamp to the wire so that the threaded part of the clamp is in line with the required angle, then when it's held in the vice the correct angle can be sighted by the G clamp. It works every time.
