Snorbitz Posted February 7, 2011 Share Posted February 7, 2011 So i've made a step towards the dark side and bought an cough cough electric cough Art-Tech Alpha Jet and very happy with it i am too LiPo's an all!!!!. Being new to EDF stuff i'm curious to what control throws would be a good place to start as the distructions make no mention of them and being a more rapid model i'm assuming smaller throws are the way forward. cagey Posted February 9, 2011 Share Posted February 9, 2011 Set the ailerons to 8mm each way and elevators 10mm each way. Worked just perfectly for mine. I used 25% expo and found the response to be ample. After the maiden I set the dual rates at 6 / 8mm low and 8 / 10 high as I found it less liable to be overcontrolled at launch.
