Duggie Lightning
Hi, I am looking at buying a SIG Somethin Extra in kit form. Can anybody tell me if it is good to biuld/ fly. I am inexperienced but hopefully will have more stick time by the time it is finished! All the write ups I have found say it is a good quality kit. Has anybody actually built or flown one? I would be grateful for any input or tips. Ta
David Ashby - Moderator
Havn't flown one Duggie but I've seen a kit built one fly and there wasn't much it wouldn't do - very aerobatic although I guess the rates can be used to tame her down according to taste. I don't think you'll be dissapointed. David
Duggie Lightning
Many thanks David, it looks a great kit from all I could find- saw a video on youtube which was a spectacular maiden flight. I will have to get cracking on stick time and "grow" into it! Reduced rates initially sound like a good idea, and I will go for it as a winter build. Graham Cramp
Hi, Does anyone know if there are any shops in the UK which stock this model, I've been looking for a new plane and would like to have a closer look at this one... Duggie, did you build yours and how did it fly? Many thanks Graham
