flytilbroke Posted May 23, 2011 Share Posted May 23, 2011 It was a bit of a struggle to get much of a display due to the aforementioned weather. Not the worst we have experienced, the strong wind meant most of the possible Pilots sensibly decided not to fly. We did have a couple or three noticeably expertly flown models, especially Andy Johnson on Sunday. Dave Johnson had a surprise though, when the model he was flying decided to come apart on a fuselage seam just as the main wheels kissed the runway. Luckily we had no major incidents. We can look forward to getting good weather next year. We got home at 2AM. we decided not to wait overnight, we sure made the correct decission.
