A bit more dosh than the HK F18 but its already motored up for a 4s battery and seems pretty reasonable. Now....has anyone any experience of it? stuey Posted April 24, 2011 Share Posted April 24, 2011 I have had one for a couple of years. I had some issues with missing parts, but it wasnt supplied by Ripmax. On 3 cells and the standard small motor its a bit underwhelming, flies nicely but pretty slow and not too easy to hand launch due to the width of the fuz (big hands may help!) and the lack of grunt. Also the battery housing is a bit rubbish, and the canopy section is fixed. I have just got a new replacement (had a bit of a mishap) in the shape of the Graupner version, as reviewed by RCME. It is the same basic airframe as the EDO, but has a better removable canopy section and generally tidier. I will be going 4S on a Minifan/HET combo when I get round to it. The best bit is a well known shop is doing them for £70! I have no affiliation with them btw. If you want to know I can pm you, or perhaps a google search might work.
