Rick Devonshire
I purchased a kit for the Weasel S/S recently. The EPP foam produces a tough little airframe but I am having continual problems with the Bellyskid which forms an under tray. This is continually suffering damage in heavy landings and cracking. I think it would be far better made from fibreglass rather than the acetate-like material from which it is fashoned. Has anyone else had this experience and made a replacement from fibreglass or other tougher material? Rick.
Tim Mackey
yes, I think everyone has found the same problem - mine broke very early on.Ron Broughton's ( Balistik models ) son Steve, makes replacements from a slightly tougher plastic, and sells them via Ebay.
