Phil 9
last week I dialed in some mixing so the rudder produced a yaw only responce. Have any of you used any other mixes on this model?
Bill_B
No mixes, but I have significantly reduced the rudder throw to avoid over controlling on take off and landing.

Phil 9
Do the m3 brass connectors that the wing struts clip into have a name? I need to get hold of some new ones.
Bill_B
I don't know what their specific name is, but I have seen some slope gliders using these as aileron horns so it may be worth looking on some glider shop web sites: T9Hobbysport, Gliders Distribution etc, or even sites that specialise in fittings. Delta Whiskey
So how did the summer fair for these Decathlon's folk? I'm considering one, and looking to go a 26cc gas route.....

I'm considering one, and looking to go a 26cc gas route..... Mine is no more . to slow to low its not a model that likes cross winds at all. Our field seemed to have a perminant cross wind for about 6 weeks at the start of the summer. Getting fed up I flew mine in conditions I knew were marginal at best. trying to land against a tricky cross wind a wing droped I reacted with aileron but in the wrong direction (dumb thumb moment) an it went in hard total right off

Have you deleted them from your members album? I've recently had to format my PC and they've unfortunately got lost in the process, but I've added a couple of flying shots to my albumn.
