Delta Whiskey
Maiden a new aircraft for a potential new club member today, and as he had the same TX as mine thought on his 2nd pack we could get him on the buddy lead, however I copied all settings, even though I thought it should just take the master FF7 settings, but on the Slave FF7 only one of the ailerons worked. He had two servos in the wing for ailerons, channel 1 & 6 and the flaperons settings on both radios were the same, however when the trainer switch was operated only one aileron worked, flicked back to the master, both worked, any ideas folk? Devon Flyer
I had a similar thing last week when buddying my FF9 to an old FF7 that I use for training purposes. It appeared to be a problem with the buddy socket on the FF7. I changed the set for a SkySport 4 and everything works fine now. Might be worth substituting the slave set to see if the problem is still there?
Delta Whiskey
I got an old skysport 6 I could use, but I will have to use a different buddy lead square to round, but this still won't tell me if it's the lead, the TX or a TX setting, most annoying, but at least he can still get some flying time ! Delta Whiskey
Sorted - turns out I had to set the N to an F for each of the 4 channels under the Trainer options. Happy first time flight too for a novice flyer !
