Here's mine. I used SIG Koverall and dope (the only way to go) and thein paint. Power is a 56 Saito. Lovely (if sedate) flyer. Build photos on my club website here.

I can post some more photos of it in flight if you like.

One thing, there is an issue with the wing hold down plate as shown on the plan - it fowls the rudder / elevator push rods. TopFlight have issued a Tech Notice re this problem.

Happy to provide more detail if you like.

Cheers, Rob

Sorry for the delay, I have only just picked up your most excellent replies.

Not being able to wait fro the courier, I picked up the alarmingly small box yesterday and was somewhat dismayed when I opened it as;

a. None of it looked like a plane.

b. The plans are bigger than my shed.

A few simple questions if you wouldn't mind;

The booklet describes covering the plans with protective; what did you use??

It describes epoxying the various joints but is it better/possible to use CA?

What did you use for the cowling???

Regards.

i take it you where expecting an ARTF? anyway, i used to rub soap, or candle wax over everywhere a glued joint might touch the plan, others will have other ideas, the structure is a longeron and spacer structure, you need a glue that soaks in, this can be PVA, even better, Alphatic resin, high strength areas, engine bulkheads etc, 30 minute epoxy,

cowling? simple enough shape, bent thin alli sheet, poilshed up,

Tongue firmly wedged in cheek. This is my first kit and if this is successful, I'm hoping to do more a few more.

Thanks for the advice re glue and protective.
