How he came to join Rolls Royce and influence Super Charger design. How he fell under the spell of Frank Whittle and went on to develop the early Rolls Royce whittle type jets. His fall out with Lord Hives resulting in his move to Bristol where he played a part in the Olympus and Pegusus etc. Concludes with his move back to Rolls Royce amid the RB211 crisis.
