Saliva.

Recommended Posts

Well folks like it says in the tittle saliva or spit has many uses. I tend to use the enzimes within to break down my food prior to swallowing but... that is not all! No sir not by a long shot. If you had a piece of 1200 or 2000 grit wet and dry sand paper you could use your saliva on said sand paper to sharpen those hobby knives. I tend to build things out of depron an awful lot and therefore use my hobby knife all the time. After a few swipes it seems my blade isn't as sharp as it once was. I've spent so much on buying new blades for the things. Mix that with the difficulty of finding a less that popular but albeit handy blade that no one seems to stock, then spit starts to look real good.

So don't throw away that blade just yet. Give spit a chance and save a couple quid in the mean time.
