Gary Miles Posted August 9, 2012 Share Posted August 9, 2012 Hi all I'm thinking of buying a 2.5m glider (not sure which one yet)but was wondering which servos do you recommend?I'll be using spectrum radio gear.I was looking at the hitec range,but which is the best one?my budgets only £15ish pounds each.or aree there any other brands worth taking a look at?your help would be most appreciated. simon barr Posted August 9, 2012 Share Posted August 9, 2012 I would go for the Hitec 85 metal gear which has a torque of around 3 kg, or the 82 metal gear which is around 2.8 kg. What ever you decide though, I would recommend going for metal gears. Its not the flying that breaks smaller servo gear trains, its thumping them getting them in and out of the car, work-shop etc...
