I have flown my Dynam Tiggy for many years without the rigging wires. They are not structural, just for show. -
Yet another returning to the hobby after many years

Hello, Tony. -
You don't have to click on it....😐
-
Exactly... so larger prop, ups the ampage, motor not rated to new ampage.... burn-out. The new ESC may be able to cope but not the motor.
-
You can't always just up the ESC ampage size as you may be over amping the motor which will eventually burn out. If you don't know the amp rating of the motor, be careful.

Splash guard...? Its just a wheel in a hole. Are you sure you have the Volantex ASW 28? My Kavan Twin Shark has a wheel with fake u/c doors (which I didn't fit)... its not this is it?
-
The wheel on mine is 70mm diameter with what looks like a 4mm bolt axle, not expensive to buy 😐
-
Is this just a statement or are you asking if anyone has a spare wheel you could have? If landing on grass, you don't really need the wheel anyway.
-
Well this is a horrifying incident waiting to happen...

Yes, always interesting to see different builds/assemblies. -
Looking for help with Simprop Manual
simon barr replied to jyrkia's topic in All Things Model Flying
I had one of those way back... it was my first 35 meg radio! Mine literally had just the two sticks and that was it. You had to add sliders and switches yourself. Don't recall having a manual - there was nothing to look up, but servo reversing is done by removing the back cover and un-plugging the stick plugs from their sockets and turning them around! -
Can you identify this model please?
simon barr replied to Futura57's topic in All Things Model Flying
I'm pretty sure that is a Viceroy made by Masterline, (I think). I had one years ago... flew very well. -
MODEL IDENTITY

Hi Gary. I see you haven't had any replies for this one which is unusual, as there is normally someone in the know. I don't know what it is, but could it be an early Chris Foss Phase "something-or-other"? It may just be a "Bitsa" or a plan build. Hopefully this reply may nudge others into replying with more info. Simon.
