Dave Rose
Hello I have recently updated Phoenix to version 4 etc and in the menu there is an option to enable trackir. I use trackir all the time in FSX and other flight simulator programs ( the other sort-lol ), but I don't see any trackir effects when using Phoenix. What i do is start trackir and minimis it- then i start Phoenix simulator . Now when i go to the flying field with a normal view of a plane, I thought that I would be able to look around the field etc, away from the plane, s yu can in real life. But I found no diference. Can anyone advise me how to use this and what to expect to see etc. thanks
MikeS
Dave. Ok stupid question time. Have you updated Phoenix V4 with all the latest updates as a fix was released in version K due a bug with TrackIR FreeTrack software and Phoenix RC. Dave Rose
Hello Mike Yes I have I am on version M What is the sequence for starting trackir- I use Trackir 3 with vector expansion. I start that, and then minimise it. Then I start Phoenix simulator. In some scenarios i see the trackir function is greyed out, in others, i.e glider on hillside it is back in and clickable- but when i click there is no change that i can see, Do you have it working? Dave Rose
If I may bump this. Has anyone got trackir working in Phoenix? If so, how please? The phoenix website appears to have no way of obtaining support. If I click on worldwide support then i get to create an e mail in outlook express but there is no address? The USA/Canada option gives me Horizon hobby site. Is there somewhere i can get phoenix support? Thanks
