Well assuming you are not wanting to measure above 10A in the current range, the 2 for 6 quid offer or whatever it was was great deal from Maplins recently...not sure if they are still running it though?

Most of them, even the cheapies, arepretty accurate ( for our requirements anyway ) on measuring voltage, and as I say, a good wattmeter style device is essential for the currents we encounter.

This is the one which was on the BOGOFF offer, and is still great value even at normal RRP

Thanks for the info as always, Timbo. What do you normally use for for higher currents in power set - ups etc...Got my meter from Maplins today. Unfortunately, BOGOFF offer has come to an end, but still good value I think......
