LYKA
Just brought the E-flite Pitts , they recommend a E-flite motor 15 for lightweight use or a E-flite 25 for a more powerfull use .I have to buy a motor for this kit, with the 25 motor being only a little more I am thinking of buying the 25. Anyone give me any advice on what is the best electric motor for this kit .I am new to electric flight and it is all a mystery to me ,all this talk of amps and watts???? Richard Wood
Hi Chris, If you prefer the 25 go ahead & buy one - If you need to reduce power you can fit a smaller prop. It's a very good idea to use a Wattmeter to check current draw & hence power consumption - they're essential really. Take a look at the tutorial sections of the forum for more guidance. Eck
Hi Chris, I had one of these in mine, used a 60A ESC from the same source and a 13x6 prop. Really nice flier until both left wings collapsed in flight.

Eck
The model was chucked around a fair bit, it's very aerobatic. Probably some unnoticed weakening from previous arrivals or hangar rash.Didn't mention it in the previous post, but I was using a 4S 3000mAH battery.
