Slopetrashuk
It was all a question of having the right toys....Met at just before 10am by winds in the low 70's which really only dropped to around 60mph by 5pm when we left the car park. My heavy jart and a couple of Rodents were shredding the air all day with halfpipes appraching 400 feet in the verticals at times. You know it's going well when you can get over 10 vertical rolls in on an upline! Also seeing a little air aside from a smattering of foam was my Opus V DS and my original Germania Limit at 7oz AUW - Just for a laugh. The Opus must have been going at upwards of 170mph on some downwind dives over the threshold to the LZ. I've only heard it shriek like that before in really fast DS.An epic day spoiled only by the fading light and the bad attitude of one local flier.Nevermind - apology accepted and it's all good column inches somewhere down the line!Missed you today Timbo - the kettle was on all day. We even had sticky buns! Some pics below to whet your appetites for the next fly in.Andy

Tim Mackey
Oh yeh.....looks like a good 'un was missed there, and obviously a bad day for "jumpers" Sticky buns too !! DAMN !!Is this a limit ?or this
Slopetrashuk
Yep, that's a limit. We (Julian B and I) knocked it about to the Limit EX and publicised it in my column. Ended up as an RCM&E free plan. My version has a v tail. The Limit EX is bigger all round. The Germania Limit is a smaller version of a model called a Germania (go figure!). Horst Fenchel had a lot to do with the Limit I recall. Jumpers? What is it about a man that makes him do this on a big hill in lots of wind? The 'bloke' is of course Steve Dorling - Editor of a mag for the other side. Doubt you'll get our RCM&E editor up a hill let alone trying to fly himself off one! That's southerners for you! - Still GA is only likkle and I suspect blows away easily......We may have to tether him! Andy
