fly-navy
Being rather "Fed up" of seeing engine sticking up in front of cockpit I wanted to alter things.Seeing Keith Pyrah's Super Cruiser picture and build gave me some inspiration. fly-navy
Bit of history.Purchased kit in 1996,built it(1st rc model) and did not fly it for 10 years as I was sure to trash it and learned on Wot4's etc.It eventually flew and flew lovely, straight off the board so to spreak.Decision was made after a couple of seasons to alter things, sheeted tail feathers were all removed and designed and made laminated built up ones, stringers were put down the side to give"Cruiserish" looks, flaps built into wing which work landing light when deployed and individual servos to wing controls, fully working u/c made and Saito 65 inverted (I know but lot of extras added) which has on-board glow operated by micro switch off throttle servo, struts were copied from a design on"Cub Den" and has working navigation lights, unfortunately not one on the tail. I am satisfied with it,would like to have done better in places but my hands limit my capabilities (Rh Arth) I am enjoying old age and retirement doing these things and keeps me from under SWMBO's feet Thank you Danny (Septic) for the stencils.
