fly boy3
Hi all, I was given a Zagi wing (uncovered) and as I am interested in gliding, decided to give it the electric assist treatment. Including lead weight to get CoG in suggested position, my AUW is 18.5 oz. Would this weight only allow me to fly on days when wind is minimal. Dave Bran
All chevron wings have the ability to fly in a wide wind range, but if you make a ballast hatch on the CG you can tailor the all up weight to suit yourself.
fly boy3
Thanks for the info Dave. Never flown a wing before, so its nice to know, that it flies well in differing wind speeds. Ballast hatch a great idea. Cheers
