Goose10 Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 Managed to get one from Miniplanes in France, nice looking job but feels fragile in terms of material. Hand launched based on CG in manual, and headed off, then started a bizarre tail walk before it then headed off and upwards; managed to control with down elevator and a very nice flyer with a cracking profile. Trimmed down elevator and have a gut feel that CG may be slightly further forward. Will test next time out. Have the swing-wing servo activated on the rudder channel so will look to test that out next time. Nice flight. All on stock. Goose10 Posted June 3, 2013 Author Share Posted June 3, 2013 Some advice please; had an accident when flying this bird on a breezy day and both one of the fans and an engine got damaged on impact. I think the engine is classed as 2315, fan is 55mm and each unit runs off a 20A ESC; without ripping out the ESC etc, can anybody suggest options for the fan unit and engine replacement so that I don't lose out on power?
