I heard 14.7 2 blade is good, what do you lot think? Mowerman Posted May 28, 2013 Share Posted May 28, 2013 The spinner should be the same size as the original 3 blade as it needs to match the front of the cowl. Not sure about the prop size as you did not mention the size of the 3 blade. Just check that you leave enough ground clearance with the larger diameter (same pitch) 2 blade. James M Posted May 28, 2013 Share Posted May 28, 2013 Hi there Here is a chart from Master Air Screw that has some usefull info on converting from 2 to 3 bladed props. Even when using the chart you'll still need a watt meter to check that the power output is still with in the limits of the motor and ESC. Jay Naker Posted June 1, 2013 Author Share Posted June 1, 2013 Thanks. Has anyone got this plane? I am still debating whether to get a 13.8 prop or a 14.7 prop. I do not have a watt meter to check.
