David Ashby - Moderator
Hi Zachary and welcome. Tricky one as it's a big ball park and it's a case of us knowing what you need to know....if you see what I mean. If you have any specific questions then please ask. Check out the builders section which is where plan builders compare notes.

David Ashby - Moderator
Have a look round the builders forum - some threads there will help. Alternatively Tony Nijhuis has an article on this site designed to help first-time builders - it also covers your query in particular http://www.modelflying.co.uk/news/article/mps/uan/

Allan Jordan
Hi Zachary, My preffered method of transfering a plan to wood is as follows. First copy the item onto paper{ I use the copy facility on my printer} Then cut out the paper pattern and glue it to the wood { I use the type of glue sold for the use of children} Having done that it's an easy job to cut the wood to shape. The nice thing about using what I term as "kiddy glue is that it's easy to remove the paper when I've finished the shaping process. Is this of any help to you? Allan J... PS.
