John Falconer Posted July 15, 2013 Share Posted July 15, 2013 I have bought the Hitec Variometer and the advanced sensor station and attempted to use them connected to a Optic 7 RX in my Multiplex Cularis glider. I have an Eclipse 7 Pro TX which Hitec say is compatible with all their telemetry sensors. However, I am not receiving any beeps when I fly Is the variometer really compatible with the Eclipse 7 Pro? Ian Jones Posted July 15, 2013 Share Posted July 15, 2013 Hi John, There is no reason why normally this should not work with the Eclispe7 Pro as the latest firmware (V1.03) includes telemetry for the vario. This is in the model setup where you switch the vario sound on, these are "Clim Sou" and Sink Sou". There was issue in the USA aerlier this year which caused them to withdraw it from sale though I don't know what the issue was exactly, as I understand users were finding it dificult to get know hoe to set it up!
