Murray Moore
Hi all,Here in Australia take-away food (hamburgers, etc) are served in clam-shell containers made from Depron. These are a source of small, thin (about 1mm thick) pieces of Depron. One typical container can provide a flat piece about 95mm by 175mm but there are larger containers available, such as ones holding a full take-away meal. The pieces are not large enough to build one of the tri-planes or Walrus but could save having to buy a full sheet when only a small piece is required. Also, the moulded curved ends of the container may provide just the right shape to suit a certain part of a model.(Some years ago McDonalds served their take-away breakfasts on a tray made from Depron. Some enterprising modellers in America made wings out of them. Oddly, at that time nobody knew that they were made from Depron, nor even what Depron was!) Regards,Murray
